Co-founder of the Brazilian website Notas Musicais, Fabiana Crepaldi is the Brazil correspondent for the magazines l’Opera (Italy) and Pro Ópera (Mexico). She also contributes to the magazine Opera with Opera News (UK) and to the websites L’Ape Musicale (Italy) and OperaWire (USA).

She served on the jury of the 2020 and 2022–2026 editions of the Concurso Brasileiro de Canto ‘Maria Callas’ (Brazilian Singing Competition “Maria Callas”) and is a member of the board of Friends of Cia. Ópera São Paulo.

In 2017, she translated into Portuguese the libretto of Ricardo Llorca’s opera Tres Sombreros de Copa for the work’s world premiere in São Paulo.

She took singing lessons for several years and has since devoted herself to the study of opera history and vocal art.
